Davenport, IA/USA – EgeTrans receives the award as 'Partner-Level Supplier' for fiscal year 2012 in the John Deere 'Achieving Excellence' (AE) program (Unit Worldwide Logistics). EgeTrans was honored because of its dedication to providing logistics service of outstanding quality as well as the commitment to continuous improvement.

The award was accepted by Peter Steinmueller, CEO and Michael Rittmaier, Key Account Manager Deere Logistics Group during the formal ceremony held in Davenport, IA/USA in March 2013. EgeTrans is the Lead Logistics Provider of international logistics services for John Deere units in North America, Mexico, Brazil, Europe and Asia.

EgeTrans already honored the last years
We got the first recognition as 'Partner-Level Supplier' in 2007 and received the award ever since. For fiscal year 2007 we were even announced 'Supplier of the Year' in the unit Worldwide Logistics. Additionally, in 2009 and 2011 we also received the JD Crop Division Award (Cost Reduction Opportunity Process). Suppliers are honored for providing cost-reduction ideas which are not only of outstanding quality but also exceed the required annual potential cost savings by far.

John Deere’s 'Achieving Excellence'
Suppliers who participate in the 'Achieving Excellence' program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
