Rainer Wieland and Fabian Gramling interested in company's development.

VIP visit at EgeTrans: On January 11th, Vice president of the European Parliament in Brussels Rainer Wieland and local politician Fabian Gramling visited the EgeTrans headquarters in Marbach and inquired the company's situation.

Rainer Wieland and EgeTrans CEO Peter Steinmüller were friends but lost contact thirty years ago. In 2015, they met coincidentally and decided to fix an appointment. At the beginning of this appointment, the EgeTrans core competences were discussed and revealed what is special about EgeTrans. Through the many questions of the visitors a lively exchange arose in which the construction of the new EgeTrans building in Marbach and the foundation of the subsidiary in Mexico were discussed among other issues.

This dialogue was extended in the subsequent office tour in which the division managers introduced their divisions to the visitors delivering useful insights into daily business. At the end of a rainy day both visitors took along not only an EgeTrans umbrella but also the knowledge that EgeTrans offers custom-made transportation solutions by focusing on customer demands.
