Topping-out ceremony in an "extraordinary building"

On April 22^nd EgeTrans celebrated the completion of the structural works of its new office building in Marbach am Neckar. The topping-out ceremony was held to honor all involved craftsmen. Among the more than 150 guests were also representatives of the city of Marbach like Mayor Jan Trost, the building authorities and the municipal council. EgeTrans employees of the Marbach office were also invited.

''What started 10 months ago has taken shape now'' said construction supervisor Achim Friedrich in his solemn topping-out ceremony speech in which he raised his glass three times: to the owner, to the architects and engineers and - of course - to the craftsmen. After that the guests had the chance to participate in one of several guided tours through the building.

In his speech CEO Peter Steinmueller expressed his gratitude to the people involved in the building. Architect Dieter Eger and Mayor Jan Trost also acknowledged the work up to present before Marcel Steinmueller at the end of his speech declared the buffet officially open. From then, at the latest, the ceremony in the ''extraordinary building'' (Mayor Jan Trost) was in full swing.
