Achieving Excellence: Renewed award for excellent logistics service
This year, EgeTrans is once again among the award winners of the Achieving Excellence (AE) program of the U.S. agricultural machinery manufacturer John Deere. For the fiscal year 2020 EgeTrans obtains Partner-level supplier status, the highest award a supplier can receive under the feedback and evaluation program. EgeTrans is the Lead Logistics Provider for international logistics services for John Deere in North America, Mexico, Brazil, Europe and Asia.
The prerequisite for obtaining the Partner-level status is a top rating in all performance categories. In order to receive this status the supplier has to consistently render high-quality services and actively optimize and develop processes. EgeTrans has been rendering premium service for its customers for many years and now earned Partner-level status by John Deere for the fourteenth time in a row already.
Traditionally the AE awards are presented in person to the awardees in June in the U.S. during a formal ceremony. Due to the ongoing global Corona pandemic this year’s awards were not presented in person, but send to the awardees instead.

Achieving Excellence – Feedback and Evaluation
All John Deere suppliers are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, delivery, technical support, cost management or wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created this program in 1991, both to establish a basis for feedback, as well as to develop an evaluation process to trigger continuous development and improvement.
We are very pleased to have received the award for 2020 again. Every year it is both our challenge and our motivation at the same time, to exceed our rating in the individual categories. Our goal is to continuously develop our logistics services and we are particularly proud that we have successfully achieved this in recent years.
We would like to thank John Deere and all John Deere suppliers for the trust they have placed in us and for the excellent business relationship and cooperation. At the same time we would like to thank our service providers who have contributed to our high level work performance.
Due to the ongoing pandemic and the turbulences on the logistics market we are again facing many challenges this year. However, we will continue to actively work on improving our services in order to fulfill and exceed our customers’ standards even in these difficult times.
