Airspace restrictions and air traffic disruptions
The current conflict in the Middle East and the resulting security situation are having a significant impact on air traffic in the region. Due to the current situation, several airports are closed or have limited availability. Flights to Tel Aviv, Beirut, Amman, Erbil, Dammam, and Tehran are particularly affected. Several airlines have temporarily suspended their services. Connections to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Larnaca are also affected by the disruptions. The airspace over Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dammam, the United Arab Emirates, Cyprus, and Iran is largely closed to civil aviation and is therefore currently not being used or is only being used to a very limited extent.

There will be schedule adjustments for routes in the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea, as shipping companies are considering alternatives due to the threat situation.
