EgeTrans participates in the Ludwigsburg City Run 2019

On July 20^th, 2019, 30 EgeTrans employees were part of the 21^st Ludwigsburg City Run.

During the run through the baroque city centre, the approximately 4,000 participants – including many runners from companies and state authorities – were loudly cheered on by thousands of spectators. The athletes could choose between the disciplines 10 and 2x5 km (relay). Despite a sticky heat, the previous track record was beaten three times on the 10 km distance. Also this year the City Run was again a meeting of the generations: with the kids run as start of the event, followed by the school run, youth run and the run of people with handicap.

All members of the EgeTrans-Team gave their best and made it without exception to the finish – true to the motto of our running shirt of this year. After the finish line the exhausted but happy runners met in the town hall courtyard to have drinks, watermelons and bananas. The evening had a good ending with live music.

All in all, it was again a successful event at which the EgeTrans employees showed real team spirit and demonstrated that they can move more than just goods.
