New regional sustainability engagement

As part of its social responsibility, EgeTrans supports another regional institution: the “Fischereiverein Benningen e. V”. By supporting this organization, we are expressing our responsibility towards the environment. This is our first environmental sponsorship.

Activities of the fishing association in Benningen
The fishing association in Benningen is responsible for the maintenance and management of various bodies of water in the region. This includes section 8 of the Neckar, the quarry pond in Benningen and a part of the Enz in Bietigheim. much more than simple measures such as removing brushwood and picking up waste. One key aspect is the support of an adapted, species-rich and healthy fish population. The financial support helps to ensure that the fish stocking in the Neckar is improved each year and to further the activities of the association.

By organizing activities such as the Neckarputzete, youth fishing and youth camps in Spain, they also support young people - an aspect which is also important to EgeTrans.

Reasons for support
With the fishing association in Benningen we have found a third social organiszation that support both sustainability and youth development. With this engagement, we want to make our contribution to a careful and sustainable approach to the environment and express our commitment to the region.
